Tablets are utterly useless if you're not an illustrator. And if you are one, then your only options are the Surface Pro 4 and the iPad Pro.

Speaking from experience: the bigger the better
You don't need "features" as much as the size.

Make sure the monitor is the correct aspect ratio.
If it's 16:10 and the tablet is for 16:9 your drawings will be "off"

Tablets are great for reading, browsing, youtube etc. Really good for when you're in bed, at the bar (instead of laptops), lectures etc.

I'd go for the highest dpi possible.
