So im in college but quite a bit older than most people there. I dont have many friends there but i. think i might be getting closer to one guy.
now to my questions:
Does he want to be my friend or is he a gay? How can i tell the difference?
He seems to hang out with a gay dude a lot and he has complimented me for fashion related stuff.

How to go from 'guys who know each others names and sit together in class and have a coffee now and then' to friends? Would it be weird if i ask him to come team building with me?

On a related note im also working on a group project and want those guys to be my friends too. Should i bring booze to the next work meeting or is this cringeworthy?

Please advice me like you would advice someone who hasnt had a lot of non-family contact ever.
