I have schizophrenia, and as I'm completely disabled, I was thinking of dedicating my whole life to programming, and if that doesn't work out, killing myself.
I already have a rather big programming experience (started it when I was very young), and I want to get even better at it, to the extent of making money off it.
Is it a realistic plan at all? I don't care if I won't make much money. I just enjoy programming. I also enjoy finding security flaws in software, and would like to pursue that, along with other comuter-related hobbies as well.
To satisfy my need for socializing, I was thinking of interacting with other people who share my hobbies online (via forums, IRC, instant messaging, etc.), as well as playing multiplayer games with friends I would make (if any).
