I have had a girlfriend for almost a month now and I still haven't even kissed her.

You need to recognize that whatever shit happened in the past is in the past. She, i assume, wasnt a part of it. You can't change the past, so don't let it keep you from things that you want or whatever the shit happened is still controlling you. If you can't bring yourself to do it, try telling her what the deal is. Like "listen, Jill, i really like you a lot and I would like nothing more than to kiss you, but XXX happened 3 years ago and it's hard for me to trust blah blah whatever the deal is."
