How do I help my girlfriend be healthier?
Shes two years older than me, and is a very strong academic and workaholic. Shes fairly intelligent, but doesnt seem to know how to really take care of herself and be healthy.By healthy, Im referring primarily to her diet.
She has a shit diet.
Its basically a cold sandwich every lunch, and 2 cups of coffee everyday. Skips breakfast and dinner. And then some nights if shes hungry, she has peanut butter with saltines, or chips, candies, and pastries.
Over the summer, I more or less lived with her, and cooked every meal freshly. But for these few months, I havent been nearby because of an internship. Knowing this in advance, I got her a rice cooker and french press, to save her time and money.
She's done barely anything with them: now she cooks rice and tops it with soy and hot sauce and calls it a meal. She claims she doesnt think its worth the time and effort to cook when she could be working on one of her innumerable projects.
When I visit her, each time she looks more frail. She had mild acne on her back, but now its severe, and reappearing on her face. She states she has frequent headaches and bad sleep. All of this compounds on her stress, and makes everything worse.
I just want to see my girlfriend happy and healthy, because if she is, she can do better academically. The issue is, she knows she should do better, and is better for a week...before going back to pastries and junk because of the "effort."
How do I coach her without seeming like an ass? Shes doing far more than I could ever muster academicall and professionally, but shes really letting herself go down a bad route to do so. Theres almost no balance.
TLDR
>gf has shit diet
>knows has shit diet, but doesnt change for the better consistently
>suffers from issues caused by bad diet
>how to help gf be healthier
