Should I go to graduate school? Do any of you have recommendations or anything to share that may help me? This is a very difficult decision for me.

I'm an electrical engineering student. I'm almost halfway through my senior year and I'm having a hard time making this decision. I have a good GPA (at least the top 20% of my class) and I like my degree. However, I'm getting tired of constantly working and I have a hard time dealing with stress.

There are three reasons to go to grad school:

1. Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn more about your field.
2. Interest in a job or profession for which a grad degree would make you more employable.
3. Desire to put off growing up and being an adult for another few years.

Does any one of these apply to you?

Grad school is a really good thing, especially if you like your degree. It's also a different kind of work, it's not going to be the same as undergrad. It's easier and harder in some aspects.
Do a pros/cons chart, and if you're really thinking about it, it must mean something about grad school looks promising to you.

If you are tired from work and don't deal well with stress then you are not going to enjoy grad school and might even quit. It's a lot of fun and I basically get paid to play (with science) all day, but it's a long and concerted effort and there are many stress spikes throughout your studies.
