so i'm going to a concert with this girl i like tomorrow night.

i asked her and she said she'd love to go with me but idk if it's considered a date

i dont really want to rush into asking her to be my girlfriend n shit cuz i'd really like to stay friends with her and not make it awkward but this is a perfect opportunity to get the gears goin

so should i just go to the concert with her as friends or should i straight up ask if us going to this concert together is a date?

How you actually ACT while with her and how she acts with you will tell you if it is or isn't.

Stop being obsessed with arbitrary labels.

This is the 21st century. Dating ain't some procedural paint by number shit, it's just a fancy way of saying, hey, I like you, you like me, let's get to know each other one on one and see if there's something there.

You asked her out. She accepted. That is the dictionary definition of a date.

But it is just a date. It means nothing more than that she likes you (and the idea of the concert) enough to be willing to spend a few hours with you. It is WAY too early to think about declaring love or calling her your girlfriend.

If the date goes well, text and talk with her the next day. Spend some "non-date date" time with her - coffee or Coke break, just hanging out. Ask her out again.

Now you're beginning to be boy- and girlfriend. Declaring love comes even later.
