How do I stop bribing myself with shit to get through the day?
My morning starts with "if I get up and go to work, I'll get coffee", continues to "if I get this done in X amount of time, I'll get a cigarette", and all through to "if I don't miss any day at work, I'll get drunk".
Basically the only way I can motivate myself to function like an adult is caffeine, nicotine, sugar and alcohol, usually in amounts that I shouldn't be buying and aren't good for me.
How do normal people get through the day?
