Alopecia Areata

Greetings fellow 4channers.I noticed a bald spot on my head, I'm young (22) energetic and pretty fit, I have a healthy diet and I workout. After some research I found out that it might be Alopecia Areata. I'm 21 and I'm super worried that Imma get bald before I reach 30. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to treat this?
Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'm not convinced you have alopecia areata, only because you state to be leading a healthy life style.

Alopecia areata is caused by a problem with the immune system (the body's natural defence against infection and illness). It's more common among people with other autoimmune conditions, such as an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), diabetes or Down's syndrome.

Even so, if it is AA, in most cases it will grow back.
So try to stop worrying until you see the doc.

Thank you so much annonymous friend. I've read many articles and most people need to actualy "treat" this in order to regrow the hair. Do you mean that I have to this myself as well? I mean, will it grow back without any treatment?
I recently started eating lots of dairy, could this be the case? I'm on line atm waiting for the doc.Thanks again
