Alright /adv/ I've hit a snag regarding some college work for a project. Sparing the details we need to make a concept addressing a current problem and rectify it. I decided that a problem was the hygiene of a bathroom, narrowed this down to taps and how they aren't very hygienic as they require contact to activate. I fixed this with a motion sensor but that's not the problem, now we need to expand on this idea and "realize" it. I said that taps are made of metals and shit, if we're trying to make the more hygienic then we need a cleaner material. I'm not sure how to even research this part so that's why I'm asking this shithole. What is, objectively, the mot hygienic material to make something from if it was to be mass-produced and receive large amounts of wear
TL;DR What's the cleanest material to make a tap out of if you're trying to as hygienic as possible, if you were to (or not to) sterilize it beforehand
Pic semi related, it's a sterilization machine
