There's this guy whose been messaging me for months - literally months straight on Facebook.

I don't even have him added to my Facebook. Apparently he'd seen me well I was at work and somehow found my Facebook through that (I didn't have a name tag and I don't have my place of employment on there, either. We don't have any mutual friends).

For the first month his messages went to my 'other' inbox and I never saw them. Then he got a hold of this girl on my friends list, asking her if I was single etc. She told him she was pretty sure I was happy with who I was with, then messaged me about it because she was weirded out/he came off creepy.

This is when I finally looked at my other inbox and saw his msgs. I apologized that I hadn't seen them and reaffirmed that I was in a relationship and not interested.

He's still been messaging me again and again for the past 3 months since that incident. I haven't replied to any of his messages and I haven't opened them either.

Should I? It's getting kinda weird. Has anyone ever been in his position that could shed some light on what his mindset is?

Am I overreacting to think it's kind of extreme to keep messaging a stranger for months who rejected you?
