How can I stop hitting my gf? I have a kid with her and I haven't done this much but every time she drinks she gets in my face and hits me with her fist/objects and she stabbed me on two different occasions while drunk.

I choked her last night when she went into my room and started hitting me in my face while I was sleeping she busted my nose and my tooth is loose now. After I chocked her she called the cops on me at my moms house even though we told her to just go away we didn't want her here. The cops didn't arrest me just took note of this incident and said they'd arrest me again.

I can not leave as the last time she kept my son from me and the legal process could not help me at all.

I want to stay for my son, but I don't want to end up dead or in prison or getting fined.

What should I do?


She wasn't like this until our son was born and we've been together for 4 years this started a year ago.


Is it worth it to stay for my son?

I now how this sounds but I come from a well off family and we aren't trash.

It's getting harder and harder for me to not hit her this is the 5th time I've put hands on her.
