neighbors let me their wifi. it works most of the time, but is pretty weird. I got InSSIDer to take a look at it and the security type actually changes every so often. back and forth between WPA2-PSK and WEP.
Couldn't do a basic connection (click wifi icon, insert password) had to manually connect. and it almost always has a red X over the wifi icon bars (bottom right of desktop) but still works, usually.

I got 1 of those cheapo wifi antennas few years ago off ebay, this is the only strange thing i've ever seen, so i'm pretty sure its not the problem.

Any ideas /adv/?
