I have friends and we hang out a lot but I don't feel like i have a bestie. Im just disposable? And I get girls but no one who is my "other half". I'm not into flings.

I want someone (friend or SO) who makes me feel not alone in the universe.

Sometimes the loneliness is too much to take and I'm afraid I'll give up.

The irony in this lonely feeling, OP, is that you are truly not alone in feeling it.
Personally, I can really relate to what you're saying.
I have a bunch of friends I hang out with, I have had girlfriends, i have good relationship with family. But no matter what, I seem to always (or most of the time) feel a really strong sense of loneliness. Even though in reality, I KNOW i have people there for me.
I've come to the realisation that its something I need to work on. I guess I've always felt like the victim, due to feeling lonely all the time- and in a sense i guess i am. But lately I've started to realise, I just need to start appreciating what I have. I know that sounds cliche/corny. But really, if i'm able to acknowledge that I do have people around me who, at the end of the day, really do care, then I won't feel so lonely all the time.
Its not a foolproof way of dealing with it, i often still feel the loneliness creep back- but its something i have definitely made progress with, and i'm continuing to do so.
I feel for you OP, because I think I know how you feel.
Don't feel alone, as a previous anon said, the world is a seriously big place, and the older I grow (I'm only 26 but yknow), the more I find myself exposed to different parts of it, and the less lonely I feel.
