help with gaming rig build

Hey guys, I've tried /v/ and /g/ but no luck so I was hoping you guys could help me out here. I'm looking to make a gaming rig that'll last me 5+ years and make no game lag at highest settings.
I have a build similar but not as powerful as the current one in this list. I'm giving it to my fiance whose pc is on it's last legs. This computer is amazing and doesn't lag on anything.

So far I've decided on windows 10.
I'd like it to be ddr4 so I don't have to upgrade when things start using it more. I'd like to keep it in around 1.4k but I don't mind spending more since I plan on buying all the stuff around black friday so I will probably be saving a lot. I also have a lot of hardrives laying around so I don't need to buy additional. I need help picking out a great motherboard but no idea what to pick and I need it to be compatible with ddr4 obviously. (this isn't a need but I do want to have the latest and greatest so my computer will last 5+ years)

Here are my pc parts:
