I dun fucked up and cut one of my fingernails a lil too short and it's started hurting. It's stinging/throbbing thorough my whole finger (but it's stronger around the nail) it's red, swollen, and warm.

Pressing on it certain ways feels a little better, but I think it's because I cut off blood supply and I don't wanna lose my finger pls.

Is there anything I can do while I wait for it to grow back? Should I bandaid it? Ice it?
