The wolves aren't a problem. There are very few of them anymore and no ability for them to gain ground. There were like 8 fatal wolf attacks from 1950-2002, your toilet is vastly more dangerous. Every single incident of pet or livestock loss is a simple matter of some human having fucked up and not supervised their goddamn pet in wolf territory or not using the proper barriers to keep wolves out or having unreasonable expectations of their current barriers.

And completely removing the wolf is far more devastating ecologically than you think. While deer would starve over winter, BEFORE they did they would consume every single bit of vegetation including stripping bark off of trees. This destroys forest and starves out tons of other native species who the deer outcompete because they're starving to death and eating their food. The ecosystem rapidly just becomes half starved surviving deer who are in awful shape and not even good to eat.

It's incredibly easy to live alongside wolves and other apex predators with just small precautions taken.

How about the dog owners or hunters lack of protection (bear mace, guns since he is hunting) and lack of care is the problem here

Even if you eradicate all wolves, all you will have is an explosive deer, mouse, and elk population, and beer and wild cat will increase since there is less competition and more food. And I think itès pretty known a single bear will fuck your day and dog up more than 2 lone wolves.

that is almost always due to a lack of habitat and space, not because humans are shooting every wolf that crosses the boarder. Wolves are notoriously cunning animals and very persistent. Europe is very heavily populated by humans and there is not nearly as much natural habitat for an animal like a wolf that needs A LOT of space to survive

We all know eliminating an apex predator is moronic. Just as moronic as eliminating a cornerstone animal. Sure, you can do it, but it's fucking retarded and will cost more in the long run than just letting the animals live and taking the proper precautions.

If you're out in the wilderness and you aren't adequately armed to take care of yourself and your animals, you're playing a game of chance, it's pretty simple. People seem to think "I'm letting my doggie be wild! and free! Letting him be a dog! just like his ancestors!" and then realize that wolves don't give two shits about you, your dog or even other wolves. It's the law of nature, and it applies to wolves, bears, coyotes, big cats, any predators, even prey animals. Either humans can adapt to the laws of nature when they're in it or they can stay safe in their cities where they can be coddled.

Deers suck, kill wildlife, are a reason people get into car accidents as well because of their massive population.
Thus, the WWF re-introduced them slowly in Germany for the benefit of us all. While we can just shoot the deer, having wolves back brings some balance to the ecosystem. I just don't know why or how, but that's how WWF taught me when I had to go out there and make people believe in us and buy a subscription for the WWF.

Eastern us has a massive deer overpopulation problem because colonists hunt to extinction all their predators here basically outside of florida gators. I dont think theres deers in florida though.
