>>1988224Those are indian almond leaves. I chose them specifically to make the water brown. I love blackwater. The loaches like it too, they come out a lot more since I switched to a blackwater tank.
Good hides for kuhli loaches are leaves! Driftwood and nice thick plants are also options. Make sure any ornaments are not sharp and that the driftwood is sandpapered down. My kuhli's love to snake through/climb any plants.
Ive currently got three kuhli's playing around in the little tuft of grass.
