What the fuck are these things /an/??
These oval things have been on my wire fence for 5+ years now. There is two single file lines of about 3 ovals that overlap. I'm not sure if they were a plant, animal, or fungi and one point. I think they're long dead now, but their body's remain. At one point I think they might have had a bit of color to them, but it's long gone by now. I don't think I are scale bugs, because a scale bug's body wouldn't have remained for so long, right?
They've never moved. What are they, /an/? This have been bugging me for years...

Anyone here Into animal preservation and taxidermy? I personally love the art and I am always impressed by a well prepared mount. I've been trying to do some myself but it can be very difficult and tough on my patience, especially since I don't have most of the right tools.

People against taxidermy are welcome too. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, even if just to amuse myself.

Hey /adv/. New poster here, havin' some trouble with my syrian hamster.

>move out
>buy a little syrian hamster
>put him in a decent-sized cage with metal bars and two platforms with all the stuff he needs
>obsessively chews the bars
>worried he might hurt his teeth
>buy a really big plastic, transparent storage bin, drill in holes/attach metal wiring for ventilation, high enough that he can't reach through it
>come home
>he's chewed a hole through the fucking plastic of the cage
>this was not thin plastic. It took a proper electrical drill to cut through.

What's up with my hamster, /an/? He has a home, fresh bedding every couple days, food and water every day, a huge wheel, a bunch of things to chew on and play with. Anyone else know how to deal with escape artists?
