Racoons

No.1985782 ViewReplyReportDelete
I went outside and found out I have some new neighbors

Pic related. Arent they cute?

Anyway, are raccoons dangerous? I went out to pick up my mom only to find this trio following me around.

There were more lurking in the shadows. 6 if I counted correctly.

I noticed that they've incorporated themselves into the hierarchy of cats that inhabit the area too. The cats seem intimidated

Id take more pictures but Im afraid of dying at the hands of a hoard of raccoons

Found this Mourning dove

No.1985676 ViewReplyReportDelete
It was lying about on the grass, trying to flap its wings near my neighboor's cats, so i grabbed it and got it a shoebox. I tried to chop up pieces of soda crackers and put a cup of water beside it, but even when i came back from work it was just sitting there.

My friends tell me it isnt sick, because when you try to hold it, it tries to scamper away and flaps a lot, but never picks up enough speed to fly off.

First off, how do i feed it? I got a bunch of bread and i think i have milk powder, dunno if i should wet some crumbs and place it in the shoebox...

Second, i am wary about it having fleas or parasites. Should i give it a warm bath in my handwash basin?

Third, is it normal to be this quiet and unmoving for quite a while when i put the lid on it? The lid has holes.

Heres the bird in question.

Uhm /an/...

Apparently the crazy maniac is back again and we all know about the animal killing ant feeding psychopath.

For those that don't know about him well your lucky because I wish I didn't know about him.

Just to keep this thread animal and nature related can you train a cat just like you can with a dog or do they just sleep around and scratch things up?

Found this little caterpillar in my washer. Thought he should have died but he was still clingy. It's October where I live, so I came here to ask if just leaving him outside will doom him to cold death?
