How can you "love animals" but eat them at the same time? How is that logical? As animal lovers the only logical solution is veganism.

Is there an intestinal parasite which can be found in dogs with the overall size and consistency of a used condom, and lengthwise grooves not unlike those found in the throat of a blue whale (for a crude comparison)? No segmentation.

The dog in question has not, in fact, eaten any condoms, having both no history of pica and no access to them.

He was dewormed two days ago. Incidentally, the dewormer made both dogs ill this time, with one suffering from diarrhea devolving into shitting blood and not much else, and the dog in question having bloody mucoid stool yesterday as well as food refusal.

It's a holiday weekend, so the local vet is closed, and the e-vet is 50km away but I can't drive because I'm badly epileptic. They'll be going to the vet tomorrow, though.

hey /an/ coming for some advice!

Long story short: I was smoking a cigarette outside my house (about 11 pm) and a stray cat was in my driveway, I enticed the cat to get closer and it was very friendly and vocal (albeit desperate) though it did seem to have a cough. Now I live in southern New England and it's getting pretty chilly at night so I feel bad just leaving the cat outside. I cannot take the cat inside as I own a dog and there are way too many x-factors for things that can go wrong. I have no real food for the cat though I did leave it water. I know it'll keep coming back which is good as I intend to call animal control as soon as I can to take the cat to safety. As of now it is hanging outside of my house and meowing a lot when it see's me.

My question is, is there anything I can do for the cat to help keep it warm through the night? I don't want it to freeze but taking it in really isn't an option.
