I need a doctor. what's going on with my plant? It has been upright since I got it and this morning I decided to water it (from top soil and put some in tupperware). I look over a few minutes later and it's just completely wilted.

Did I just kill it or did the stem just get to long and was unable to support the weight straight up?

>78% of posts are about domesticated animals
>literally 96% of the top 99% of popular posts are about domesticated animals
Why is there so little discussion of non-domesticated animals, or nature, on this board?

May as well call it /pets/.

Hey /an/! I am interested in potentially adopting a kitten (or two, the kittens are brothers and I dislike the idea of separating them).

However, I have literally no experience with cats of any kind. I have had a dog before (she recently passed away).
I believe the two kittens were domestic shorthair cats but I am not certain since they were apparently found as strays.
The woman currently fostering them told me that they are most likely domestic shorthair cats and they seem to fit the bill.

Can anyone offer me any advice regarding raising kittens? The two are about 2.5 months old and are already litter trained. Would it be a good idea for me to adopt two kittens without any prior experience with cats?

Pic unrelated. I don't have any pictures of the kittens.

Greetings /an/, I could use your help identifying this beetle. Found it roaming in leaves in the garden next to my place. Has a pair of rather scary looking mandibles and it spits out some dark liquid after biting into anything. It also lets out a really foul smelling liquid when touched, my fingers smelled like I dipped them into shit for an hour before smell dissipated (washing my hands helped a bit I guess).

I live in Dubrovnik, south-eastern Europe (Mediterranean area).

Pleco

No.1982579 ViewReplyReportDelete
Hey, guys. So I have a pleco and it has fin damage. He shares a tank with a catfish and a glowfish. I'm about 90% sure that the damage is because the catfish can be aggressive and not because of fin rot. Looks like its about time to give the catfish up to a pet store. Does anyone know how likely it is that the holes/tears in the pleco's fins will heal closed? I would just hate if it had pediment damage because I was postponing getting rid of the catfish.

Noisy Cat

/an/, do you have any tips for calming down a stressed cat?

My cat is usually quiet and sweet, but we're in the middle of a move. We're about half done and my cat has been running around the house meowing almost nonstop all day.

I'm sure it's because she's stressed out and things that she probably thought of as immovable (couch, bed, etc) are suddenly gone and she isn't sure what to do.

She'll come into my room, stand in the corner and meow at me; for a while I thought she was trying to get affection but she ran away when I approached her. I followed her out in the living room where she would just keep meowing at where the couch was.

Aside from this she's acting pretty normal, so I don't think she's sick. She chased the chip bag around the room and I left the pillow there for her to lie on (which she hasn't done so I assume she isn't interested).

Is there any remedy or should I just grin and bear it until we finish moving tomorrow?
