Hello /an! Can you help me to find out the breeds my grandfather's dog is mixed with? He's clearly mixed with a german/malinois shepherd but i'm uncertain about the other breed( extra information: the dog's mom was a spanish stray dog)
How come most people seem to hate or feel outright disgust for these cute little fellows?
I won a pair on christmas, and these fuckers only wanna snuggle and play, snuggle and play, then curl up into a ball and sleep.
They are even goddamn neat. I mean, NEAT. What kind of pet is fucking NEAT? They poop solely on a designated area (a small box they didn't wanna play with) I didn't even train them to do that. They tear up news papers to make bedding for their wood forts, and they even CLEAN themselves. With actual water. They dip their pink little hands in the water bowl and pass it all over their faces.
I can't understand why such cuddly animals are so looked down upon.
My cat is always congested and has mucus build up really really bad around his eyes and in his nose. People keep saying its allergies but not going away. I have some old eye cream that treats it from another cat kinda want to try that. It's been too long with him like this so I want to go to a vet asap but I don't think they can do anything but give me the same cream.
While service dogs for people with physical disabilities are readily incorporated into our society, service dogs for people with emotional disorders or, as Dale puts it “invisible disabilities,” like PTSD have yet to see the same acceptance.
Hi /an/ my kitty was noticeably out of it, touchy. We watched her for 2 days, and since she stopped drinking and eating, we took her to an ER vet this morning (our local vet was unable to see her until tomorrow). Good news is, her blood tests came back normal, her intestines look better after rehydrating, and her fever is down. Our bill so far is about $750.00. Nothing remarkable about her bloodwork, and aside from hairballs, no medical issues to not at all. The ER Vet, however, noted a murmur that a previous vet mentioned in passing, but didn't seem to concerned about. This ER Vet recommended we take her to a Cat Cardiologist for additional testing.
My question is, if I can continue to keep up with her annual check-ups, is there really a need to go to a Cardiologist? They even said her heart appeared normal in size, so I don't know if this is a case of hyper-informative ER "check everything" mentality, or legit, we should take her to see someone advice.
Has anyone had experiences with cat cardiologists or other speciality vets? Did you feel it was worth it, or did you get peace of mind? I'm researching and don't see a clear consensus.
Hi /an/, I need cat help. I have a shitty attitude cat. My roommate has a nice cat who is half the size of mine. When I moved in I kept them separated and introduced them slowly but my cat still chases it and hisses at it. Today he pissed on a chair. What should I do to fix his shit cat attitude? I'm pretty close to getting rid of him, but nobody else wants to take care of a cat with a shitty attitude, so I don't know what to do.
