-How long do they live?
Depends on what era were talking about! but around the same technological time as were in right now, theyre probably living 10 years longer on average, so living into your 100's would be common. I dont think they "degrade" over a long period of time like humans do though, they go through a rapid degeneration of cells and develop cancers through about 5 years before passing. This is due to older generations still having children and being healthy in old age, propagating genetics that led to healthier old age!
-What do they eat?
They eat all kinds of things, farming plants and animals, and a very large part of their culture is intense domestication of thousands of species of animals, where as weve domesticated mainly dogs, they have hundreds of "companion animals", and ten times the amount of farm stock type animals, so theres a lot more diversity in their meat products than we usually see. To chew, they use the back of their tongue and the top of their palate which is full of hard chewing bristles and plates, similar to what a ray's teeth look like (

Some cultures also partake in something pretty weird to us, which is eating "gas". A lot of the flying animals on their planet are air-bladder based floaters and it would have originated from eating those, basically in a modern day setting there would be some sort of container or thin plant based skin enveloping tasty gas that they would consume with meals!
