The ceiling or maybe broken glass.
A few years ago there was a leak, it got patched but there's some paint peeling on the ceiling where the leak was. My cat jumps up onto a shelf just below it and bats it down with his paws or pulls it down with his teeth, then tries to eat it. In the process of training him out of that now.
As for the glass, a few times when glassware has been left out he's knocked it off of whatever surface it was on and onto the floor. Then he'll take the bigger pieces and push them across the floor to try and play with them as I run out there (usually barefoot) to take them away.
