Alright, where did this meme about cats being good pets come from?
My girlfriend bought 6 month old one the other week and ever since it's been like living with a really shitty and destructive flatmate. I can get by and know it'll calm down as it settles more and gets older. I understand it's a cat and that cat's a generally pricks. I do have one problem though.
How do I make it stop yowling for food?
If my neighbours find out I'm now harboring a feline I will be kicked out. Every time I eat, open a can, touch a fork to something or just generally enter the kitchen it assumes I'm going to feed it something tasty. Ever since the first time it got wet food.
I've tried ignoring it but, I've got to the point where I just spray it whenever it yowls at me. That manages to cut the fifteen minutes down of yowls to about three. If I can't get it to stop before my bitch neighbour finds out; I will kill myself, my girlfriend and the cat. I do not want to move.
