>>1982997Is the breeder a member of the breed club?
((Good, but not a must))
Does the breeder show their dogs (conformation and dog sports/ earthdog trials)?
((Normally I don't consider this point so important when choosing a dog, but with a dwarf breed you need some sort of outside opinion on how structurally sound the breeding dogs are.))
Do the pups come with a compressive health gurenteed?
((Not a replacement policy))
Do the pups gone with a spay/ neuter contract?
Do the pups stay with mom until they are 12 weeks old?
((Very important))
Have the parents been health tested (CERF and OFA)? Have you personally seen copies of the paperwork?
((Extremely important))
If the answer to any of these questions is No; do not get a puppy from this breeder.
Why? Check out the thread about the guy buying a white Boxer mix puppy, that will fill in a lot of what I have left out.
