I've got a question about my cats, /an/.
I've got two rescues, both brother and sister that I got when they were kittens. When they were younger they would both lay on either side of me, or on top of me. Very loving cats. They'd play with me and do all sorts of stuff. Now they're both a year old and they don't want to have anything to do with me. I feed them, clean their litter boxes out regularly, and try to play with them.
They'll play with my brother and mom no problem. The cats will even hop up and curl up next to them. But they kinda just avoid me most of the time. The brother will always hang out in the same room, but if I want to pet him if he's not already laying down, he just runs. He'll run two feet and lay down and stare at me. As if he's taunting me. They don't play with their little fishing poles, toys or laser unless someone other than me is the one doing all the work. How do I make my cats love me? The whole reason I got them was to fill the void my last cat left.
