White patches have appeared around my 7yo golden retriever's eyes, and he's rubbing them on walls as if to scratch an itch. These patches have never appeared before, and I'm guessing this is some sort of infection ?

I just noticed today when I got home from work, he was scraping the side of his head across the wall and rubbing with his front paw
