I'm going to courtbecause my neighbor complains my doggy is a nuisance, and barks at him all night.

I told him it was another dog he was hearing but I'm the only house adjacent to his. And I think he might have got video of my dog barking at night. Also my dog's name is licensed as Barky.

Do you think he hasgot a case? What will happen to my dog if we go to court? Will I have to keep my dog in-doors?

Hiring a professional would be. But you may as well not hire one because this kind of training relies on you maintaining it at home so you may as well just research and put in the effort yourself.

A great way to start is to just keep your dog in at night. Why is it outside in the middle of the night? Dogs can hold it until morning. If your dog is barking only during the day within the noise ordinance, that's fine. But it is fucking rude beyond the realm of description that you have just been letting your dog sit outside barking at the neighbor all night.

You're fucking lucky as shit he hasn't just poisoned your dog and gotten over it. Don't be such an inconsiderate human being and you wouldn't be in this mess.

Now good luck, it's not the easiest thing to train out of at all.

It's called 'debarking'/devocalization and it won't stop a dog from barking. Its suppose to decrease the volume of the noises they make.
It is illegal in some places in the USA and also wiki says this

I assume it'd be since they'd pick up that barking when you ask them means a treat/praise while if they bark on their own, they either get nothing or get yelled at.

1. do not let your dog be outside at night.
2. yes debarking is a thing, I have also seen people who have gotten their dogs vocal chords shaved to lessen the noise.
3. try a citronella collar.
4. It is true dogs will bark less if you teach them to bark on command but ONLY if you also teach them the word quiet and that it is more rewarding for it to be quiet than it is for it to bark.
5. Try blocking your dogs view of the neighbors more if you can I have found putting tarps over chain link fencing helps immensely.
6. find a way to mentally stimulate your dog, interactive toys like the Kong wobbler are great for this.
7. Brush your dog...please, the more unkempt your dog looks the less legitimate you look in a court.
8. Look into training regaurdless of the cost, often times trainers will do free evaluations/consultations and may be able to give you free advice on how to handle your situation.
Also try to do something nice for your neighbors to build a relationship with them, let them know you are trying to do something about his barking if you try any of these things, often times this alone will make people drop their case if they know you are trying to train the dog.

How are people eating this up so easily?

This makes 0 sense. The only time a barking dog can get you in trouble is a noise complaint from the police, in which repeat occurrences will issue you a ticket, and then more occurrences will issue seizure of the animal. Or, if you rent, you could be evicted or asked to get rid of the animal.

Even is this is real, there is nothing the court can do. Unless he has video evidence of you keeping the dog out for hours in the rain, or sun with no food or shelter.
