Wait a few weeks until his personality and habits really come out. It'll be easier to tell by then. There are a lot of personality traits that are most obvious in certain breeds, like how protective vs timid they are, how much they love water, if they're cuddlebugs or more aloof, if they're super vocal, if they like to sneak around/stalk, how huge their prey drive is, etc.
Right now he just looks like a rottie puppy, but he could be something else.
