This is a cane toad. I'm going to purchase one of these majestic animals and keep it as a pet.

I've already had american toads, and I have a large tank for the guy. All the care sheets suggest that they're pretty easy to take care of.

Has anyone had one as a pet? Anything I should know about them? I prefer "toads" over "frogs" because toads seem to be more lively and entertaining. And the rougher skin makes them a little more hardy for occasional handling.

I don't know of a toad larger than the cane toad. Does anyone know of one bigger? There's the goliath frog and african bull frog, but I think this is the largest "toad."
