I rehabbed a birb a few years ago. Released him back into the wild. This is him. I've been thinking about him recently. I was never sure what kind of birb he was. What kind of birb is he?

Yes they are wrong. Most human intervention in ecosystems is done without a very good understanding of the consequences. Hence many invasive species.

By organism do you mean animal? Judging importance of an animal is generally accepted in society, so can be morally right. Unless it's a vegan jainist society

People who complain about starlings and house sparrows are the same as people who complain about interracial marriage.

Shit happened a long time ago; we have to deal with the reality. Starlings and house sparrows are pretty well integrated into their new habitats and not rehabbing them won't make any difference to their overall population.
