So I've been doing jiu-jitsu again for a month now, and at least once a week we do something called King of the Hill.

Two guys go in, whoever taps leaves, whoever wins stays in and fights the next guy. Repeat until we're all tired.

I have always lost these, sometimes painfully. Last night I had to go against a professional fighter. He fucking wrecked both my shoulders in seconds.

But today I finally became king of the hill. Right after the guy got a lecture from the coach about needing to secure position before submission, we start rolling, and he starts passing my guard and doing shit while not quite in side control while I have his arm.

And somehow, I turn that into a behind the back Chicken Wing-Z-lock. Total and complete bullshit that I managed to pull off.

Feels good man.
