QTDDTOT.

I'll start. Took my first real knee (we were supposed to spar lightly but my partner messed up on this one) in the ribs in muay thai and it hurts like hell. How am I supposed to take knees? What muscles (if any) should I develop to make this less painful?
And before anyone says I'm a faggot, I'm relatively old, no real fightan background and skinnyfat.

I am getting into DJ bikes. Im set on a GT Bump. Now i cannot decide between 24" (20.5TT) or 26" (20.5TT)

I am 5'6-5'7 and come from a BMX background. Will be very mixed riding, from park to local trails which get pretty intense.

Any insight appreciated.

Why is animal kung fu not taught
I live in the UK ,London and have been looking for a gym to teach me but it seems that animal kung fu just doesn't exist , I see a lot of wing chug and tai chi and basic kung fu but apart from that nothing else is animal kung fu looked down upon or is it too special
I would love to learn monkey kung fu but there are no good books

>What boots should I get?
It is extremely important to get boots that fit you well and to have them heat moulded. Therefore, it is very important to go to a professional bootfitter (not just a ski shop, but specifically a bootfitter). For a list of reputable bootfitters, refer to epicski.com/wiki/boot-fitters-on-epicski
You can also consider getting custom footbeds for increased comfort and performance. If you are a beginner this is not that important (though getting boots from a bootfitter is), but if you are an advanced-expert skier it will make a big difference.

>What bindings should I get?
The most important things to consider with bindings are DIN range and brake width. Your DIN should be around the middle of your binding's DIN range. For example, if you ski with a DIN of 7, a 4-12 binding would be good for you. A 1-7 or a 7-16 would be bad. If you don't know your DIN, look up a DIN chart.
The brake width should be approximately equal to the waist of the ski. It's better for the brake to be a little smaller than a little bigger (ski shop techs can bend the brakes when they mount the bindings), but if you go more than 7mm or so smaller the brakes might not fit well. Going up to about 10mm wider on the brakes is alright too as long as you don't carve really aggressively.

Stop being a faggot and huck something big. Or post video of you skiing ITT and we'll critique it.

Yes.

Is It Possible to Learn On Your Own?

No.750251 ViewReplyReportDelete
Hey /asp/, I'm curious if there is any sort of effective way to learn on your own. I already know the general idea is that it's easier to pick up bad habits or learn something incorrectly and learning with an actual teacher is the best, but that isn't really an option for me at the moment.

So my question is if I am unable to find a class that teaches what I want to learn (in my case, capoeira), is there a way to self teach that actually works, for the most part?

Hello there everyone. I just have a few things to say and I will be on my way. First of all I hate most of you. You all feel so entitled to your opinions and that is absolutely fine. However, your opinions are mostly wrong and you just love whatever new comes your way. I've never seen such a group of useless fucks like yourselves. Now don't think I'm bitter about anything because I give 0 fucks.
Now, I don't hate all of you. Some of you are very good posters and your opinions actually have some value to them. I'm mostly speaking to the majority. You come to this site and whine and complain so much about nothing that actually matters. My open letter to most of you is entitled "Go fuck yourselves".
I realize this is a place to discuss mma. However, you don't need to be such pieces of shit. I cannot come on this website without reading something that is very ignorant or just plain stupid. I honestly wish most of you would just kill yourselves but I digress. If you really gave a shit about this sport you would have thought provoking discussions that would challenge your minds and make you think about things. While this does happen from time to time it does not happen enough.
Every time I come here its about how this champ sucks or how hot this fighter is. Really? This is mma and no one gives a fuck how beautiful you are. You only have to prove how good you are through skill and ability.
So this is my farewell because I'm sure I will get banned for speaking my mind. I wish some of you the best because you know what your talking about and make interesting threads and posts. The rest of you can lick my asshole because your useless pieces of shit that should have been aborted. If not aborted than Christopher Reeve should have at least sucked all your cells out of your body so he could have fought Gene Hackman to the death. Anyway south park references aside, my point is I hate you all. You all have a wonderful life being bitter and petty and I will continue giving 0 fucks.
