>>729284It shows the level of talent the company had, and acknowledged, at one point.
Look at where most of those guys are:
Punk - Run out of the company because of backstage politics (where both sides were wrong)
Bryan - Injured and probably not coming back
Rhodes - Joke gimmick that's FINALLY getting some traction after over a year of stupid fuckery
Ryder - So buried he's back in NXT (though, for him, this is a huge upgrade in terms of chances to actually wrestle)
Kingston - Finally hitting it big after being put in a mildly racist (and destined to fail) face gimmick
Bourne - Fired
Phoenix - Retired
I'll be honest though, the WWE for the most part has done a half-decent job booking talent the last year,
Lucha Dragons - No-personality flippy shit that's over with the crowd, and are treated as such
Cesaro - Slowly gaining momentum because of being so over with the crowd
New Day - Shit, shit shit shit gimmick they turned into COMEDY GOLD
Cena - Put on a series of awesome matches with the US title
Reigns - Ditched the uberpush and put him bag in a tag team with Ambrose where he can develop some more
Rollins - Can put on phenomenal matches when given the chance. I look forward to his match with Sting because of the seriously mismatched styles involved
PTP - Dead gimmick that was brought back and got over with the crowd
Rhodes/Rhodes' replacement Stardust - In a highly entertaining and batshit crazy feud with Neville
Neville - Over as fuck purely because of wrestling talent, is treated as such
Wyatt family - Reunited with a new monster hoss, made a credible threat again.
Divas division - Still awful and floundering, but at least the crowd is involved again (trying to get booking to push it the RIGHT way)
