anybody who calls themselves sifu, master, grandmaster, or anything related living in the west = guarenteed mcdojo
anybody who calls themselves sifu, master, grandmaster in the east = currently receiving money from communist government to promote kung fu for health and recreation.
old CMA people did it because:
1. bodyguard job = good pay
2. challenge fights = good pay + reputation
3. trained from before they hit their teens, its all they know how to do.
now CMA people do it because:
1. health
2. wushu = get into movies (jackie chan, jet li, etc.)
the only role CMA has in modern times is either for health, or cultural purposes. anything else would be bullshit.
theoretically, these people who want to be 2deadly shouldnt even have picked up CMA in the first place.
