I want to dress as a prisoner (orange jumpsuit) for halloween, but I am worried about police.

For some reason the police are always stopping me, trying to question me, and harass me. I guess I just look like a criminal or some shit.

Anyway, when (not if) I get stopped tomorrow, can they legally detain me to make sure I haven't actually escaped from prison? What are the laws concerning this shit?
