so feeding cost arn't bad if you eat a lot of what you feed them. they can at almost any veggie except lettuce so mine get a lot of butternut squash. they take a lot of variety in their diet so they just get a little of everything. potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, bell pepper, grapes, apples. so look at it almost like feeding an extra person every day. they get big and require a ton of room and most are aggressive and assholes and they can HURT you bad. like stitches and broken fingers i don't recommend them as pets but these guys are incredibly calm and needed a new home. having raised one before and seeing these guys personalities i fell in love. i have the room now :)
