I have no plans to buy one, nor have I bothered to keep up with the latest happenings. But this could definitely change if they get way more support in the future, who knows. As it is now they just seem like a gimmick. Fun, but just a gimmick. I also wear glasses, and they don't look like they would be comfortable with glasses on.

I've tried one out for a few hours at work.

They're pretty fun, but it's surprisingly easy to lose your sense of balance. They are very restricted in what you can actually do at the moment, we were just playing a return a tennis serve game. Happy to answer questions if anyone has any.

I own a dk2 and its great for particular games such as elite dangerous or anything of that nature its wonderful. It works decently well with alien isolation as well but it was retarded hard to play games like battlefield with it since the natural looking around is how you would actually aim and theres no independent control of where you are looking vs where you are aiming. Then again that can easily be solved once games are actually made for this type of functionality. I'm glad tech is finally at a place to allow this kind of thing to take off. I am planning on getting a HTC Vive when it comes out since it will have the highest resolution of any currently announced sets.
