It can be bad in terms of being ethical or financially poor.
I tried google but every result is TOP 10 WORST BUSINESS DECISIONS EVER.. and I can not find one in the past 5 years.

Started taking modafinil. Shit doesn't do anything. It doesn't help me focus or anything. If anything I can't focus. I feel light headed and a bit nauseous off of just 150mg. I went up to 300mg and felt the past 2 symptoms to an extreme and high blood pressure. Am I using this shit wrong?

You can literally get all the information from that on investopedia

I'm sure there are some what are known as 'fundamentals' books that talk you through how to do it and my brother gave me one I can't find it since its been years.

Just go on the Internet ans go to 'investopedia' and then type in fundamental or technical or charting

it is, on the other hand, simple for an asian person to land a job on the basis that they're related to someone politically important or their parents comapny is a customer of the bank and worth a lot of money to the trading desk

in the west it is more complicated and you're going to have to still jump through various hoops like at least get a decent school on your CV - which can be helped by nepotism - and some form of internship, which can be helped by a combination of school + contacts from family

but the traditional nepotism of the uncle simply bringing in his nephew doesn't work so well these days... well unless he owns a significant chunk of the company

If it's not for an entry or paper pushing position at a company with a HR department you will still have to do an interview.

I know a guy that knew the board of directors of a bank and he still had to do an interview. The benefit was he didn't need to bring in a resume, he just had to show his shit to hr on the day and they let him through after that. He got 120k a year for signing documents for JV's, IPO's etc.

holy shit I hope you don't believe this. I worked for a major bank and literally everyone in entry level positions had a relative or family friend in higher up positions.

If I had to save enough money to buy the house I'm buying while at the same time renting, it would take me 15 years - not accounting for inflation.

During that time I'd throw 63000€ down the drain in rent - again, not accounting for inflation.

A mortgage on the same house, for 15 years, is only going to cost me about 12,000 € including taxes AND inflation.

That's, in the worst possible case scenario, a 51,000€ saving.

Debt is a tool, just like a hammer.

Just because you can't use a hammer without hitting your thumb all the time like a dumbass, doesn't mean a hammer is not incredibly useful to someone who knows what to do with it.
