Hey /biz/, I want to get into finance and business and be a banker or an investor and make top 0 5-1% income, I'm pretty good at math and things that require analysis and thinking. I'm currently 20 years old living in the west coast usa going to community college for general business, idk part of me wants to go into investment banking and go to wall street but the other part of me wants to do something else in business I just don't know right now I'm still exploring, I didn't have the best time in high school ( had a lot going on in my own life and was going through major depression ) and barely got by and wasn't very involved in extra curriculars or the social scene in high school, I got my GED in 2012 and have just been sitting back and taking it easy in life, please /biz/ I really want to be rich and do something in business and finance, how do they do it? Is it just hard work and determination and being naturally talented in math and business or is it just being lucky and being in the right place at the right time and knowing the right people, please help me /biz/...
So, /biz/. I am 19 years old, and have been working 3 shit tier jobs for almost 2 years now. Long and short version is I tested out of high school when I was 17, got 3 awful jobs because nobody pays people like me (no experience, no useful skills) a good pay, so I took the next best thing, 3 awful jobs to make an equivalent of a decent pay. I've saved about 95% of it, and I have enough money to pay for just about any college that will accept me.
My question is, what would be a good paying field to get into? I am an extremely quick learner and can do just about anything well with a little training. The only thing left to know is what to do.
If you were given a fresh start, with the chance to get into any field you wished, where would you go? What would you do?

hey /biz/nessman, long term browser of 4chan here and have been browsing /biz/ on and off since it opened like 2 years ago. Basically I want to be rich, some would say rich is relative but I want to be rich compared to the majority of the world ( top 1%-0.1%) I want to be a billionaire ( might be a little unrealistic ) or a hundred millionaire or at least get a job that makes 300k a year, I didn't care about money and being rich as much when I was young ( I did want to go to school and get a good job and be a banker or a lawyer or something but I wasn't really serious about it at the time and didn't really care or try hard ) I'm 20 male living in the west coast united states going to community college for business and international studies, I had some rough times when I was a kid and a teenager and didn't have the best time in high school ( my grades weren't that good and I didn't get very involved in extracurriculars or other things I enjoyed ) I got my G.E.D. in 2012 and have just been laying back and taking it easy and bumming around, I started school back up last year and now am Just getting back on my feet and trying to find my purpose and direction in life, again I had some really hard times when I was like 14-17 and it just left me devastated and really put my life in a different direction than where I wanted it to go ( I thought i'd graduate top of my class in high school and go to a good college and get out at 22 or 23 and make lots of money ) But yeah /biz/ sure there are things that are out of our control like time and place and who we know ( which are huge in business by the way ) but we can still control some things and a lot of it is what we make of it and what we decide to put in ) Please /biz/ I really want to be rich and have billions or at least millions of dollars or make top 1% income, I'm an analytical and methodical person who likes math and science but I also enjoy history and the arts, please /biz/ teach me how to get rich, thank!
