>>931969Yes, it is justified to look at this issue and ask what the exact causes of the wage gap are, but extremists are taking advantage of women's fear of sexism and stifling debate.
We could take an honest look at the biological differences between men and women and find ways to get girls interested in STEM careers.
We could create insurance and welfare schemes so the cost of maternity/paternity leave is spread out and small businesses are not arbitrarily crippled.
We could look at the root causes of the wage gap as well as issues faced by women in business.
However even discussing these issues is considered sexism.
Even if some rogue scientist who doesn't care what society thinks finds realistic solutions to these problems, it is naive to believe they could get a word in between the feminists and actual sexists constantly screaming at one another. The only conclusion therefore is the usual one, that democracy is mob rule, the majority of the population is low intelligence, over-emotional, psychologically deficient and misinformed. They do not have the moral high ground and it is ethical to focus solely on yourself and the things you do have control over.
