The reason why you list them at $50 is because Amazon loses items within their fulfillment centers, and jewelry is a really small item for them to manage. If Amazon loses it while sorting it or storing it, they will reimburse you $50 because you had it listed for $50. Technically, they would reimburse you for like $43 because of fee's.
Sometimes Amazon gets a stick up their ass and will only reimburse you for $12 or something, but you have to msg them like "Hells no, I was going to sell this for $50. You lost it, you have to pay me the full value!" and they will, 99% of the time.
Amazon likes to lose shit. I was reimbursed $1200 recently because Amazon lost a box to PHX6 which is their Phoenix Arizona location. Amazon reimbursed me for everything that was in the box.
