Which jobs/salary can I expect in the USA outside of Silicon Valley? Anything related to programming and reporting is welcome.

I have a B.Sc in Business Information Systems from a German university of applied sciences, made some small pieces of software, a data mining project, a functional specification document, a database web-application and had a 6 month internship as "Business Analyst". My thesis was about a Data Mining topic which required me to scrape several GB of data from websites with a deeply-nested structure and come of with questions to answer by myself. I also spent a year abroad as exchange student in Finland where all my courses were in English.
