I'm sick and tired of this buy and hold strategy and "get rich slowly" bullshit. I don't want to save up $2 - $5 million by the time I'm 65, depressed, divorced, suffering for cancer, diabetes, high cholesterol, blood sugar and other shit that will prevent me from enjoying things only possible when I'm young.

It's simple. First, find a job and lift like until you are ripped. Learn programming in your remaining free time.

Now you are more alpha than 99.9% of programmers.

Now continue to do some freelance work or anything really to bring in enough passive income to pay the bills.

Then spend your unlimited free time doing development. Work hard on an idea, don't give up but know when its time to move on. Make sure to collect as much welfare as you can at this point.

Also, spend 10-15 hours exercising and socializing. Burning out is not an option.

When you get a good idea, sell a stake in your business venture to an investor for a sizable portion. If you get a good idea, and put in the time and effort, you should be stacked by the time you're 30.

If things didn't work out, you can showcase your work and find employment and become a wage slave.

You'll still be in a better position than most people.
