Famous cases where corporations failed to predict the future?

Some examples
-Xerox inventing the GUI computer and just placing it in a museum where Jobs and Gates poached the idea(along with the engineers who created it).
-Sony working with JVC on the VHS/Betmax prototype but selling their shares because they thought VHS was inferior
-Kodak inventing digital cameras in 1975 but not developing it because it would hurt film sales.
