What is a safe investment for the next ~6 months?
I am saving for the downpayment on a FHA loan for an investment property (duplex) in a growing area near me. I am able to save roughly $2500 a month and have $10,000 saved already. I will easily have enough money in 6 months time.
The thing is, I hate that my money is just sitting in my savings account witch earns very low interest. Especially since I am only putting 3.5% down, every dollar I have to put down, gives me $28 more in purchasing power
What would be a good liquid stock or safe investment that I can be putting my savings into for the next few months?
