I run a decently popular site 1.6-2.6k uniques a day, can't use Adsense due to content, and I'm wondering what alternatives everyone uses.

media.net is supposedly pretty good (yahoo/bings answer to adsense), and since they're yahoo/bing they're definitely easier to get along with policy wise.

Other than that, contact relevant people in your industry and negotiate ad placements. You'll make more going directly to the advertiser anyway.

It's porn, right? Shouldn't be hard to find a few advertisers.

no, file-sharing. I've tried media.net, and they wouldn't even accept me. I've looked at larger competitors, and a few went with mgid. I'm trying it out now, but I'm only getting .6 CPC.

Just use some CJ or Clickbank offers. The random $20-100 commission here and there is going to be better than the $0.25/day that you get from 2k uniques on a shitty PPC network.

Amazon affiliate links might work as well.

mgid accepts semi-NSFW, but they pay shit. 0.02-0.03 for U.S traffic.

I use revcontent for SFW, 0.05-0.08 CPC. Really good CTR, 3%-6%.
