If the job is half decent and not dead end then take it.

I lost big trying to get the "other" job, so my advice is if it is not some life crusher, then take the job.

Also I seen Accenture as a hit or miss thing. 2/3 thirds of the people I know left angry, 1/3 made huge money and seem disconnected from reality.*

*anecdotal evidence from one guy on the internet, subject pool size 30 people, mid and eastern US

Accenture culls people every couple of years, people seen as top perfomers get to stay and earn decent money, people not seen as performing well get kicked out and become butt hurt

if you're not perceived as performing well enough to get promoted and progress through the organisation then you'll get kicked out
